Each year we send out an end of the year newsletter via snail mail. This way we are able to bring everyone praying, supporting, and involved in our ministry up to date with what’s going on. Especially those who may not get our monthly email newsletters. This is the end of the letter year we sent out last week. If you didn’t receive one, we are very sorry. Several people who get our email newsletters we didn’t send this one, because we didn’t want to overwhelm you and you will be getting an email newsletter in December. Thank you again to all who have been praying, supporting, and been there for our family in any way this year!
Last week we asked you to be praying for Maeven and Judah as they went back to school this week. Well, yesterday was their first day of classes and both survived! Judah was quiet and nervous as he went to his first day, but did great. Of course his two favorite things were lunch and recess. Maeven started her homeschool classes and did excellent. It’s big adjustment for her as a social butterfly to be home just with Mom, but so far so good. She is really excited for next week when she goes to her homeschool co-op and is able to hang out with other kids. Thank you so much for your prayers and please keep praying with us that our kids have an excellent school year, do great with their studies, make lots of friends, and also that they will grow in their relationships with and be bold for Christ!
This weekend as you are praying for the week ahead, please remember to be praying for our kids as they will be starting another school year. Judah is off to Kindergarten and will be experiencing all those firsts of heading to school. We are so thankful that he was able to be put into an inclusive classroom that has less students and teachers and aids that are trained to work with autism.
Also, please be praying for Maeven as she will be heading into her first year of homeschooling. (Pray for Erin too!) This is going to be a big difference for her as 2nd grade will be at home and also in a local homeschool co-op. We really feel God has led us to do this for at least this year and that hopefully she will do even better academically, her body will continue to heal from Celiac disease and cross contamination in public school, and most importantly that it will strengthen her walk with Christ.
Thank you so much for the way you love and pray for our family!
