This has been a fun week for the Owens family as the weather here in Kentucky was nice for a few days. Maeven enjoyed being able to play in the yard some and the whole family enjoyed grilling out again! Now we are just praying the warm up continues!
This week we began meeting with our FCA students that are interested in attending leadership camp this summer. The first thing we are working on with them is how to share their testimony and the importance of being able to explain what a relationship with Christ is to others. They are pretty nervous at the thought of having to speak in front of anyone, including our very small group. Pray that we will be able to help them clearly express the good news of what Christ has done in their lives!
On Thursday night, Erin had a busy night with the March meeting of “The Well.” The ladies enjoyed a fun time of fellowship and Bible study. They also had a lot of fun learning how to make edible finger paints for their kids. Both Maeven and Judah really like their time at “The Well” as they get to play with the other kids and Miss Pam! After a couple of months of being sick and various other things going on I also had a big Thursday night with returning to bowl in the Men’s league. While my team lost, I wasn’t as bad as I thought I would be and most importantly it was great to catch up with a lot of the guys in the league.
This weekend we enjoyed celebrating Erin’s Mom’s birthday. Maeven and Judah loved having their MeMe and Pop Pop visit on Saturday. Lot’s of squealing and laughing for sure!
As we head into the upcoming week be praying for our upcoming FCA Huddles and discipleship with our leadership team. Also pray us as we have many upcoming outreaches and events at the Rec Center. Lots of people will be coming through that we will have an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with! Have a great week and as always thanks for your prayers and support!
